Gain the skills you need to care for people in remote locations. This fun, fast-moving course utilizes classroom sessions, practice sessions and outdoor scenarios.
Wilderness First Aid Afloat (WFAA) contains all the same information included in the SOLO Wilderness First Aid course (Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies). It also includes additional topics specifically designed for boaters including: sea sickness, marine bites and stings, injuries that are more common in marine environments, and environment specific rescue scenarios.
Bring long kayaks. Bring short kayaks. Bring paddle boards. These sessions are informal. Show up with enough time to rinse your boat/board and self before taking a plunge.
