Weather on the Run
March 23 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm$10 – $15
A special presentation by John Huth
You can improve your ability to read the weather through an understanding of the physical processes driving weather systems when coupled with observations. Although this shouldn’t supplant NOAA radio and other weather resources, it can help you fine tune forecasts for local conditions and enhance the experience on the water.
In addition, John will examine cyclonic storms, e.g. Nor’easters. These storms may occur at any time of year but are most frequent and most violent between September and April, according to the National Weather Service.
